TRAINING SERVICES AND AWARENESS PROGRAMS

To develop security knowledge and awareness culture within organizations and the public alike, BruCERT also provides year-round security awareness training at Institute of Civil Service (IPA). For effective and systematic delivery, these programs are developed according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology methodology, as described below:

ICT Security Awareness Training
As the country progresses with online services, it is important that every user involved in providing services is aware of their legal and personal responsibilities with regards to the handling and processing of information, in any form (i.e. hardware, software, paper records etc.)

Basic Information Security Workshop
Theory-based information on Information Security is insufficient for effective implementation of security and incident management. The Basic Information Security Workshop aims to educate employees to apply right tools at the right time and place. With hands-on laboratory experience that is not limited to basic setups and configurations, this workshop will provide real experience that can be easily applied to real IT environment.
